An unidentified security officer slapped a female student of the University of Benin, Edo State, for wearing a skimpy gown to the school premises.

In a video recording, the young girl, dressed in a white hoodie and red gown, was seen holding tightly to the shirt of the security officer while asking him why he slapped her.
The incident drew the attention of other staff and students of the institution who intervened and pleaded with the lady to release the security guard.
