Veteran Nigerian actor, Usman Baba Pategi, popularly known as Samanja, has died.
Reports say Samanja died in the early hours of Sunday at Garden City Hospital in Kaduna after a prolonged illness.
He died at the age of 81.
The deceased was a retired Nigerian soldier who worked with the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Kaduna national station.
Until his demise, he was survived by two wives and 14 children.
His funeral was held at 10 am at Jaafaru Rstate Juma’at mosque, Kabala Costain, Kaduna.
