The Federal government led by President Bola Tinubu has proposed a sum of N26 trillion for the 2024 budget.
This was disclosed by the Minister of Planning and Budget, Atiku Bagudu at the end of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) held on Monday at the council chamber of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The budget is expected to be submitted to the National Assembly before the end of December 2023.
The FEC meeting, the second since the inauguration of the new cabinet was chaired by Tinubu.
