Report from Buckingham Palace on Tuesday says that King Charles III has been diagnosed with cancer and will no longer attend any public function.
“His Majesty has today commenced a schedule of regular treatments, during which time he has been advised by the doctors to postpone public- facing duties while he undergoes treatment. This was announcement made by palace today.
The statement further says” Throughout this period, His Majesty will continue to undertake state business and official paperwork as usual”.
It could be recall that King Charles III reportedly to have spent three nights at the London clinic in a private hospital close to Ragent’s Park where he received treatment and he was confirmed to be “doing well”.
After the treatment, he was seen in the public for the first time on Sunday waving to the public on his way to church accompanied by his wife, Queen Camilla.
King Charles III was enthroned in September 2022 after the demise of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II.
