The Supreme Court has fixed Thursday, October 26 as the date it will deliver final judgements in the presidential appeals against President Tinubu.
The two main presidential candidates challenging Tinubu’s victory on the February 25th election are Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP).
The date of the apex court judgements was disclosed on Wednesday by Director of Press and Information, Awemeri Festus Akande.
According to Akande, adequate security arrangements have been put in place to prevent security breaches both within and outside the court premises.
Recall that on Monday, a 7-man panel of Justices of the Court led by Justice John Inyang Okoro took their final arguments from lawyers to parties in the petitions.
After taking the arguments, the apex court reserved its judgements.
