The Senate has condemned the illegal sit-at-home order in the Southeast, urging the Federal Government to collaborate with the Finnish government to extradite Simon Ekpa for prosecution.
Members of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) have enforcing illegal sit-at-home directive by Simon Ekpa, causing unrest in the south eastern region.
The Senators reached the resolution during its plenary on Wednesday.
They also called for a thorough investigation by relevant stakeholders to bring the other sponsors of the act to book.
