In compliance with the order by the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, security personnel have taken up strategic points across Kogi State as the governorship election is currently taking place in the state.
The governorship election is also currently being conducted in Imo and Bayelsa States.
Recall that a few days ago, the IGP through the Force Spokesman, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, restricted vehicular movements on roads, waterways, and other forms of transportation in the three states.
The restriction began from 12:01 am to 6 pm on Election Day on November 11.
