Ukraine’s capital of Kyiv was on Sunday morning, attacked by Russian forces with drones.
Five blasts were said to have been heard even though the scale of the attack, reports say, has not been ascertained.
The attack lasted for about two hours as drone debris was seen falling on several central districts of the city.
Several damaged cars in the attack were shown by Ukrainian media.
There is yet no report of immediate injuries.
Military sources say the drones came ‘in groups from different directions’.
Kyiv’s mayor had said one person was injured in the Podil neighbourhood and a fire had broken out near one of the city’s parks.
“Drones came onto the capital in groups and from different directions,” Serhiy Popko, head of Kyiv’s city military administration, said on the Telegram messaging app.
