The House of Representatives Ad hoc Committee investigating job racketeering and gross mismanagement of the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System, on Thursday, issued a warrant of arrest on Haruna Kolo, a former desk officer of the Federal Characters Commission, FCC.
This is as the House also resolved to take drastic measures against the Assets Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON) and other parastatals who have failed to honor the invitation of the Ad hoc committee.
Chairman of the Committee, Yusuf Gagdi expressed dissatisfaction over the absence of Kolo, who is currently undergoing investigations by the House of Representatives.
Mr Kolo had told the House Ad Hoc Committee, on Monday, that job seekers in the Federal Character Commission (FCC) paid millions of naira into his personal account for onward transmission to the Chairman, Mrs. Muyeebat Dankaka.
Mr. Kolo, who now works with the Assets Management Company of Nigeria (AMCON), said the Chairman appointed him as her chief protocol while serving in the FCC.
He said some of those who came to seek jobs in the Commission pay as much as between N1 million and N5 million depending on the MDAs.
Meanwhile, the Chairman, Mrs. Dankaka, has denied the allegations, saying she did not receive any money from Mr. Kolo.
