The Nigerian Police Force has paraded Suspects connected to the attack on a supermarket in Nasarawa State, near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), during which four people, including a staff member of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) was killed.
The force spokesperson ACP Muyiwa Adejobi, said the arrests were made by a combined team of the police working in collaboration with other sister agencies.
Adejobi said: “When the operation was to be carried out, they put off the CCTV Camera, which means there must be an insider who was conspiring with these elements.
“We have commenced our investigation. The CP Nasarawa is on the matter. And we are helping them with necessary support to make sure we dig deep into that matter and we apprehend all those involved in that criminal act.
“We want to assure the people of FCT that the Force Headquarters is working with them and IGP will continue to support them so that we can make FCT safe for all of us”.
