    The Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Husaini Gumel, has announced a ban on all street protests in the State as the Governorship Election Petitions Tribunal sits for the adoption of written addresses.

    The CP made the announcement at the Command Headquarters on Monday following intelligence received by the Command that the two dominant parties, the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and the All-Progressives Congress (APC), have assembled a crowd to embark on a protest against the tribunal sitting.
