More than two people have been reported stabbed at a railway station in the capital city of France, Paris.
This attacked occurred at Gare de Lyon, and the police have put all the apprehension that arose because of the incident under control as they have reported to have arrested a suspect.
The incident that happened at one of the travelling hub of the city said to occur about 7.35am local time and one person was said to have sustained serious injury and undergoing surgery.
Paris police chief, Laurent Nunez, was reported to have said the attack does not appear to be terror-related, and has described the attacker as appearing to suffer from mental health issues.
According to the report the Police officer, said, the suspect was carrying residency papers from Italy and medicines suggesting he was undergoing treatment.
Paris Prosecutor’s was reported to have said that the perpetrator was understood to have been armed with a knife and a hammer, and was tackled to the ground by a security guard according to the Paris prosecutor’s office.
A message posted on social media X French Interior Minister, Gerald Darmanin, described the attack as an “unbearable .
