A chilling incident occurred in Oyo State, where a young nurse, identified as Omoniyi Boluwatife, was found dead with her womb removed after a night club outing.
The victim is a Nursing graduate of Lead City University Ibadan and was officially inducted into the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria on Tuesday.
It was gathered that she went to the club earlier that night to celebrate her induction but her lifeless body was discovered the following morning.
While authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, the management of the Copacabana club, issued a statement on Friday, noting that the unfortunate incident did not happen within their facilities.
“It saddens our hearts to hear about the tragic event that happened to some customers after leaving our facility. However, as a nightclub, we cannot take responsibility for incidents that occur outside our premises. Although, our thoughts and prayers are with the victims and their families.
“Our venue is equipped with top-notch security systems, making it one of the most protected facilities in the city of Ibadan.”
