Shettima’s trip was announced on Saturday in a statement issued by Stanley Nkwocha, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications in the Office of the Vice President.
The high-level meeting will focus on conflict prevention, resolution and efforts to promote sustainable peace and stability across Africa.
Shettima is expected to join other African leaders and key stakeholders in examining practical measures to address security challenges and strengthen the continent’s collective response to conflicts.
