The Police Service Commission has released the timetable for the 2026 promotion examinations for Assistant Superintendents of Police, Deputy Superintendents of Police and Superintendents of Police.
The three-day promotion exercise is scheduled to hold from Monday, September 28, to Wednesday, September 30, 2026.
According to the timetable released by the commission on its X handle on Sunday, the first examination, for Superintendents of Police seeking promotion to Chief Superintendents of Police, will hold on Monday, September 28.
Accreditation will take place from 8am to 10:50am, while the examination is scheduled for 11am to noon.
On Tuesday, September 29, the examination will be for Deputy Superintendents of Police seeking promotion to Superintendents of Police. Accreditation will run from 8am to 10:50am, followed by the examination from 11am to noon.
The final exercise, scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, is for Assistant Superintendents of Police seeking promotion to Deputy Superintendents of Police.
Accreditation will commence at 8am and end at 11:45am, while the examination will hold from noon to 1pm.
The timetable was issued by the PSC Media unit, with the commission urging participating officers to take note of their respective accreditation and examination times ahead of the exercise.
