The Plateau State Police Command has arrested a suspected mastermind in connection with the deadly attack on Bimper village in Mangu Local Government Area.
The attack, which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday in Kombun District, left 25 people dead and four others injured.
The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Alfred Alabo, confirmed the development to Channels Television, stating that the suspect currently in custody is believed to have played a key role in planning the assault.
Alabo said police investigations are ongoing, while security operatives have intensified efforts to track down other suspects who fled the scene after the attack.
