The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu, on Thursday unveiled two Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses donated to the Nigeria Police Force by Sterling Oil Exploration and Energy Production Company Limited (SEEPCO) at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
The ceremony was attended by senior police officers and top officials of SEEPCO, including the company’s Managing Director, Mr. Mohit Barot; Director of Business Development, Mr. Raj Bhargava; the Public Relations Officer; and other members of the firm’s management team.
Speaking during the unveiling, IGP Disu expressed appreciation to Sterling Oil for the donation, describing it as a commendable corporate social responsibility initiative. He noted that the environmentally friendly CNG buses would improve personnel welfare, strengthen logistics, and enhance operational mobility across the Force.
SEEPCO’s management also reaffirmed the company’s commitment to supporting the Nigeria Police Force and contributing to initiatives aimed at improving security and public safety across the country.
