The Lagos State Police Command has allayed the fears of the public over an alleged underhand dealing in the case and autopsy conducted on the body of late Ilerioluwa Aloba, popularly called Mohbad, who died on September 12.
The command stated this in a statement issued by its Spokesman, Benjamin Hundeyin on his official X handle.
Recall that the command had a few days, disclosed that it had exhumed the body of the late singer and subsequently concluded an autopsy on it.
The autopsy was to unravel the circumstances surrounding the demise of the singer.
Addressing concerns that had been raised by the public over the autopsy, Hundeyin wrote, “As assured by the CP, the autopsy was promptly carried out, by some of the best forensic pathologists in the country, in the presence of family members.
“While we await the result, we urge everyone to remain calm and confident in the process. There is absolutely no underhand dealing, as feared by some concerned persons.
“In the meantime, other aspects of the investigation are progressing well.”
