Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has been captured in photographs training alongside New Zealand/Nigerian mixed martial arts star Israel Adesanya as they prepare for a potential cage fight against Elon Musk.

The challenge between the two American tech billionaires originated after they exchanged call-outs, with Zuckerberg recently launching the social networking app Threads as a competitor to Musk’s Twitter.

Although initially seen as playful banter between these influential figures, the anticipation surrounding this unexpected clash continues to build as they were both seen training with MMA fighters. Adesanya shared photos from their training session on his Instagram page, with the caption, “We both have South Africans to deal with.” Adesanya was referring to Elon Musk, Zuckerberg’s tech competitor, and undefeated middleweight fighter Dricus Du Plessis, whom Adesanya is likely to face in his next bout.

The training sessions with Adesanya indicate that Zuckerberg is taking the proposed cage fight seriously, demonstrating his commitment to physical preparation for the potential showdown.

The photographs and the growing buzz surrounding this unlikely matchup have garnered significant attention among fans and the wider public.
