Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) have arrested a 20-year-old ex-convict, Abdul-Lateef Mutiu after snatching an Infinix Hot 30 Play phone.
Abdul-Lateef Mutiu snatched the phone valued at N93,000.00 from an Uber driver in Ketu around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
This was disclosed in a terse statement issued by the Lagos State Police Command posted on its X handle on Thursday.
According to the statement, the suspect had after snatching the phone from the driver, attempted to escape when the officers arrested him.
“The suspect confessed that he has been operating in the area since 2018 and has been arrested two times,” the statement reads.
