The Canadian High Commission in Nigeria located in Abuja’s Central Business District has been gutted by fire.
The fire incident was confirmed by the Head of Operations of the FCT Fire Service, Amiola Adebayo.
Adebayo said two persons were fatally injured in the incident.
Furthermore, he disclosed that about three or four other victims had been rushed to the hospitals.
“Yes, yes, it’s true. We have two fatally injured and the others in the hospital, either three or four,” he said.
The fire service official did not, however, state the cause of the fire incident.
He did not also disclose whether the affected victims were foreign expatriates or Nigerian citizens.
