    How Fire Gutted Section Of Plastic Factory In Lagos

    Fire on Saturday, engulfed a section of the plastic factory, Mega Plastic.

    This was disclosed in a statement by the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service and signed by the agency’s director, Adeseye Margaret.

    The statement posted on the official X handle of the agency, said it was efforts were going on to combat the fire.

    It read, “The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is currently fighting an industrial fire at Mega Plastic, Ilupeju bypass, Mushin, Lagos.

    “The emergency alert was received at 07:26 hours on Saturday, and Ilupeju, Bolade, and Alausa Fire Stations are in attendance for the firefighting operations.

    “The storage and factory sections of the petrochemical company were affected as the fire is being curtailed. No injuries or deaths have been recorded thus far.”
