A fuel tanker was gutted by fire on Wednesday night on the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
The fire, which raged through till 11:40pm engulfed two trucks apart from the tanker.
The fire which started at the Olowotedo bus stop end of the highway’s outward Lagos lane had already spread to the Deeper Life Christian Ministry’s campground end of the road.
Motorists heading outside Lagos were diverted to the Lagos-bound lane from the turning in front of the NASFAT camp.
Firefighters were said to have struggled to put out the fire.
