The Acting Inspector-General of Police, Ag. IGP Olukayode Egbetokun, has decorated the Force Public Relations Officer, Olumuyiwa Adejobi, with the rank of an Assistant Commissioner of Police.
He was decorated at the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters, Louis Edet House, Abuja, on Friday.
“As an Assistant Commissioner of Police, I need to discharge my duties as expected of me and make sure I coordinate certain things that come to me as the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) to make sure that the Police have a very good image,” ACP Adejobi stated.
He dedicated his promotion to Nigerians who believe in the Nigeria Police Force and Police personnel boost the image of the Force through their professional and civilized conducts.
He also expressed his gratitude to the Chairman of the Police Service Commission, Dr. Solomon Arase, and PSC Board for approving his promotion.
