The Spokesman of the Force, ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi has commended the Lagos State Police Command for the arrest of the suspected armed robbers who killed the personal aide to Sen Olamilekan Yaayi in Lagos recently.
ACP Adejobi gave the commendation in a tweet on his X handle.
His tweet reads, “Kudos to the Lagos state police command for putting its resources together and painstakingly arrested the suspected armed robbers who killed the personal aide to Sen Olamilekan Yaayi in lagos recently.
“When the incident occurred, there were many speculations, but now the police investigation has proven many speculations wrong as the men arrested are regular ex-convicts who have been to prisons severally, and robbed and incidentally killed him.
“They have confessed to the crime and many alike. They usually dressed in military uniform to deceive their targets, stop the targets, and rob them. We sympathise with the family of our late brother, Sanni Adeniyi.
“We will continue to discharge our duties as expected of us and do justice to all cases. Nigeria must be better.”
