Two people have been killed in reported explosions on a bridge connecting Russia with Crimea.
The incident occurred on Europe’s longest bridge, and the victims were identified as parents, while their daughter was injured and is in intensive care. Russian officials in the Krasnodar region, near the bridge’s eastern end, confirmed the tragedy.
Moscow has blamed Kyiv for the blasts, labeling it a “terror” attack and accusing Ukraine’s regime of being a terrorist and an international organized crime group.
However, Ukraine denies involvement and suggests it could be a Russian provocation.
The incident has halted traffic on the crucial supply artery for Russia’s war in Ukraine, potentially impacting Russian supply lines.
