The embattled former Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa has been released from the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS).
Bawa was released by the DSS on Wednesday night after spending 134 days in its custody.
Recall that the former anti-graft agency spokesman was arrested and detained by the secret police on June 14, 2023.
This followed an invite over undisclosed reasons after he visited President Bola Tinubu earlier on the same day.
After his arrest, he was investigated for alleged financial impropriety during his active years in the anti-graft agency.
