Renowned Nigerian record producer and Mavin Records CEO, Don Jazzy, has once again demonstrated his kindness by assisting Otutu Laura, a distressed individual seeking financial support for her mother’s medical treatment. Laura, in a heartfelt plea on social media, shared her family’s urgent need for N400,000 to settle her mother’s medical bills at the National Orthopaedic Hospital in Igbobi, Lagos, before November 6.
Desperate and in dire straits, Laura appealed to the online community, stating, “We need to raise 400k before Monday so my mum can be discharged from Igbobi hospital, please help us. We have spent over 3.5 million for the surgery on her leg, but we are still owing 400,000. If we don’t clear that money before Monday, they won’t discharge her and the money will still be adding up. We have used all we have and we have nothing left, please help us.”
Upon noticing Laura’s plea, Don Jazzy promptly reached out to her and generously transferred N500,000 to her account, ensuring that Laura’s mother could receive the necessary medical care without any further delays.
This act of kindness follows Don Jazzy’s recent charitable gestures on social media, where he donated a total of N8,000,000 to individuals in need. He contributed N6,000,000 to cover the surgery expenses of an injured Nigerian player and another N2,000,000 to settle the medical bills of another individual. Don Jazzy’s continuous philanthropy continues to inspire and uplift those facing challenging circumstances, making a significant impact in the lives of many.
