The Minister of Defence, Muhammed Badaru; Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle; Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Christopher Gwabin Musa, and other Service chiefs were present at the National Military Cemetery on Friday to pay their last respect to 22 military personnel killed in an ambush and evacuation helicopter crash in Niger State.
It was an emotional day for family members and friends of the deceased who were crying inconsolably while some of the deceased officers had already been buried by their families.
