The Supreme Court has affirmed the victory of Bola Tinubu as the duly elected president of Nigeria, bringing to an end, weeks of legal battle against his election.
The apex court dismissed the appeals of PDP’s Abubakar Atiku and Labour Party’s Peter Obi.
Both Atiku and Obi had approached the court to challenge the electoral victory of Tinubu.
The Supreme Court held that there is no merit in Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi’s appeal, and it is hereby dismissed.
