Heads of drug law enforcement agencies in Africa have called for specialised courts to try drug cases and other organised crimes across the continent. This was part of the recommendations adopted at the end of the weeklong 31st meeting of heads of National Drug Law Enforcement Agencies, Africa (HONLAF) in Abuja. An Edo State High Court sitting in Benin-city has convicted and sentenced three internet fraudsters to different jail terms. The fraudsters: Edo Othuke, Hurock Miracle, and Blessing Gbekena were jailed by Justices M. Itsueli and Efe Ikpownonba.
