Another aircraft slipped on taxi turn after landing and cleared off the runway at Port Harcourt Airport.
The aircraft operated by ValueJet airline slipped off at 3:30 pm on Tuesday.
According to reports, no damage was done to the aircraft.
The incident was confirmed by a captain at Value Jet, Stanley Balami.
Balami said the aircraft had stopped on the runway and executed the second turn-off when he encountered a slip due to algea on the turn-off.
Reports further the situation made the aircraft uncontrollable on the taxi.
This comes days after a runway incursion involving an Aerocontractors aircraft led to the temporary shutting down of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
