A security guard, identified as John Danjuma, has allegedly butchered his former employer at her residence in the GRA axis of Port Harcourt, Rivers State.

The deceased was identified as Boma Amaomu-Jumbo, a former Director of Admin at the University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital.

It was gathered that Danjuma was earlier arrested and is standing trial for allegedly stealing the sum of Ten Thousand Naira ($10, 000) from his late boss.

Although he denied stealing the money, the Court granted him bail and the case adjourned to a later date for continuation of hearing.

The deceased was scheduled to appear in Court last Thursday to give testimony in the case.

However, he snuck into her house, took a machete from the kitchen, and waited until it was raining then went to attack and butchered the victim.

Luck ran out of him while attempting to flee the crime scene as neighbours saw blood stains all over him and raised the alarm.

During interrogation, Danjuma told the detectives from the State Criminal and Investigation Department, Rivers State Police Command that he killed his former boss because she accused him of stealing her $10000.
