EFCC Arrests Yahoo Boy At His Luxury Hotel For Defrauding An American Of $268k
A suspected internet fraudster, 26-year-old Precious Ojo, aka Obago, has been arrested for allegedly defrauding an American of thousands of US Dollars.
His arrest followed a petition received by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), where the victim claimed the suspect impersonated one Raymond Bush, who works in the US Treasury, to defraud her of $268,000.00.
The suspect was arrested by Operatives of the Benin Zonal Command at his hotel in Oghara, Delta State.
According to EFCC, he confessed to building the luxury hotel with his alleged proceeds of crime.
Other items recovered from him include a Mercedes-Benz car with personalized plate numbers and mobile phones.
The suspect will be arraigned in court soon.
