Gunmen Kidnap Traditional Ruler’s Nine Children
Yet-to-be-identified gunmen have kidnapped nine children and grandchildren of the Emir of Kagarko, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar.
The bandits reportedly stormed the Emir’s place on Sunday at about 11.30 pm.
Although authorities are yet to confirm the incident, a local alleged that the bandits headed straight to the monarch’s palace during the operation.
According to him, they took away the monarch’s youngest wife, nine children, and grandchildren, but the wife escaped and returned home.
He further disclosed that three other members of the community were also kidnapped, while a villager, Audu Kwakulu of Ungwan Pah, was injured and is presently receiving treatment at the hospital.
