Kidnapped Bayelsa NPC Commissioner Regains Freedom

The Federal Commissioner of the National Population Commission (NPC) in Bayelsa State, Mrs. Gloria Izonfuo, has regained freedom.

The Commissioner was abducted at Ogbakiri junction along the East-West Road in Emohua Local Government Area of Rivers State on Sunday evening alongside her maid and driver.

Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Grace Iringe-Koko, confirmed that she was released on Friday morning.

She added that an investigation is ongoing to apprehend the kidnappers and bring them to justice.
