Video: Policeman Caught Assaulting Man At Checkpoint In Port Harcourt
A Policeman was seen in a video recording flogging and slapping a middle-aged man at Emohua checkpoint in Port Harcourt, Rivers State.
In reaction to the incident, the Force Spokesperson, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, in a tweet, condemned the act and assured that the Officers on duty at the checkpoint would be identified and made to face the consequences of their actions.
“Quite unfortunate. I have asked the Rivers State Command to fish them out. This is unpolice, unethical, and condemned. Whatever the man must have done, he doesn’t deserve this beating. Beating him like a baby?? A grown-up man?. We will surely get the men,” he intoned.
