12-Year-Old Boy Charged With Murder Of Grandmother
A 12-year-old boy will appear before Sheffield Youth Court on Saturday after he was charged with the murder of a 60-year-old grandmother, who was hit by a car.
The Police say the boy cannot be identified for legal reasons.
The victim, Marcia Grant, was described by relatives as a warm, loving and dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and a pillar of her community.
According to South Yorkshire Police, emergency services were called at 7.10 pm on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, to reports of a collision between a car and a woman in the Greenhill area of Sheffield.
Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
