
Notorious Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested In Imo
A 32-year-old notorious armed robbery suspect, identified as Igbonagwam Osinachi, has been arrested by Operatives of Imo State Police Command.
The Police say the suspect confessed to the crimes he has committed with his gang members at large, revealing their identities and criminal hideout situated at the littoral land of Nworie Riverbank, Owerri.
Based on his confessions, the Operatives raided the hideout and recovered three locally made pistols and one live cartridge.
According to the State Police Spokesperson, ASP Henry Okoye, efforts are in top gear to arrest other members of his gang at large and they will be arraigned in Court upon completion of a diligent investigation.
While commending the operatives for a job well done, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Mohammed Ahmed Barde, urged them to sustain the tempo until all criminally minded elements are flushed out from the State.
