Portable Remanded In Prison Till Bail Conditions Are Met

Controversial musician, Habeeb Okikiola aka Portable, is to be remanded at Ilaro Correctional Centre pending the time his bail requirements are met.

Portable was arraigned before Chief Magistrate, A.S Shoneye, by the Ogun State Police Command on a five-count charge bordering on assault and stealing.

At the Court sitting on Monday, Portable pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The defense Counsel, Adodo Destiny, then prayed the Court to grant the defendant bail.

Delivering his ruling on the bail application, the Magistrate said the offences were bailable and immediately granted him bail with a bail bond of N300,000 and N500,000 as well as two sureties who must reside within the jurisdiction of the Court.
