Police Arrest Two Suspects With Locally Made Guns In Lagos

Operatives of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Lagos State Police Command have arrested two male suspects, 20-year-old Daniel Ojoh and 27-year-old Kudus Ahmed, and recovered two locally made guns and charms from the hoodlums .

Daniel Ojoh was arrested at his workshop in Alagutan on Saturday, February 18, 2023, and a locally made gun with two live cartridges was recovered from him. Kudus Ahmed was arrested underneath Ojota Bridge on Sunday, February 19, 2023, after eagle-eyed RRS bike riders on patrol stopped him. A locally made gun and charms were recovered from his bag.

The State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, noted the suspects, who were transferred to the Command Headquarters for further investigations and prosecution, are assisting the Police with useful information.
