IGP Baba Deploys CPs, DCPs For Election Duty Nationwide

The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Usman Alkali Baba, psc(+), NPM, NEAPS, fdc, CFR, has deployed Commissioners of Police (CPs) and Deputy Commissoners of Police (DCPs) to the 36 states of the Federation- including the Federal Capital Territory to for the Presidential election scheduled for Saturday, February 25.

According to a police signal sighted by Crime Fighters, CP Frank Mba would remain in Ogun State Command while CP Idowu Omohunwa will supervise election in Lagos State. CP Ibrahim Zango was posted to Lagos State West, DCP Nandel Gomwal to Lagos State Central, and DCP Carba Yusuf to Lagos State East.

CP Yetunde Longe was deployed to Ogun State Central, CP Adebowale Williams to Oyo State Command, CP Adelesi Rotimi to Oyo Central, CP Taiwo Jesubiyi to Oyo North. CP Sadiq Abubalkar to FCT Command, CP Rhoda Olofu to FCT AMAC/Bwari/ Kuje Area Councils, CP Adepoju Ilori to FCT Gwagwalda/Abaji/Kwali Area Councils, CP Magret Ochala to Kogi State Central.

CP Mohammed Barde to Imo Command, CP Ogunrinde Banji to Imo East, CP Chris Aimionowane to Imo West, CP Alexander Nengi to Imo North, CP Echeng Echeng to Anambra State Command, CP Julius Okoro to Anambra South, CP Selem Amachere to Anambra Central, CP Ahmed Ammani to Enugu Command, CP Duronsimi Olatoye to Enugu East, CP Okon Effiong to Enugu North and CP Dayo Ariyo to Enugu West.

Other Senior Officers deployed are CP Shehu Gwarzo to Kaduna State Command, DCP Nuhu Darma to Kaduna Central, CP Paul Omata to Kaduna South, DCP Magaji Samiala to Zaria/Sabon Gari/Kudan/Makarfi LGAs, DCP Abdulazeez Sani to Kubau/Ikara/Soba/Lere LGAs.

CP Kolo Yusuf to Katsina State Command, DCP Ibrahim Maikaba to Katsina North, DCP Hayatu Shaffa to Katsina South, CP Godwin Aghaulor to Katsina Central.

The IGP charged the officer to exhibit professionalism and neutrality while carrying out their duties.
