The Police, Military, Department of State Services (DSS), and other security agencies, on Tuesday, embarked on a show of force in Anambra State ahead of presidential elections on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

The show of force symbolizes the readiness of the security agencies to protect the lives and properties of residents and maintain law and order in the State

It would be recalled that between Sunday and Monday, 12 persons- including Police Officers have been killed in an attacks by gunmen on Police Stations in Idemili North and Oyi Local Government Areas of the State.

By the show of force security agencies in the State are warning criminal elements who wish to disrupt the election process that they will be dealt with.
