Lagos State Commissioner of Police, CP Idowu Owohunwa, on Friday, visited Mile 12 and other communities where there was a breakdown of law and order for an on-the-spot assessment of the situation.

In the early hours of today, hoodlums took to the streets of Mile 12, Agege, Ikorodu, Ketu, and Ojota, causing mayhem as they expressed their dissatisfaction with the challenges associated with getting the new naira notes. However, there is heavy police visibility at all locations and normalcy has been restored.

CP Idowu has warned residents of the State that troublemakers will be dealt with while law-abiding citizens will be protected.
