Operatives of the Lagos State Police Command attached to Area G Command, Ogba, have intercepted 21 parcels of illicit drugs suspected to be Indian Hemp.
According to the Police, the illicit drugs were concealed in the bonnet of a Sienna bus with registration number BEN 883 LW driven by 32-year-old Kalu Orji.
The Policemen, on stop and search routine on Friday, August 5,2022, flagged the vehicle at Aguda near Excellence Hotel, Ogba, and found the drugs.
Meanwhile, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has directed that the suspect and exhibit be transferred to the Command headquarters for further investigation.
