Operatives of Anambra State Police Command have uncovered a hotel used as a baby factory, where young girls aged between 14 and 17 are allegedly being used for sex slavery and prostitution.
At the hotel identified as Gally Gally hotel located at Nkpor, 35 teenage girls were reduced, and four of them were said to be pregnant.
According to the State Police Spokesperson, DSP Ikenga Tochukwu, three persons named 35-year-old Ifeoma Uzo, 28-year-old Chidiebere Alaka, and Nweke Chidiebere were arrested.
He added that the suspects are being interrogated to elicit information on their involvement in the crime and unmask other gang members.
The Police recovered three pump action guns, seven cartridges, and a cash sum of N877,500.
The victim would be handed over to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) for welfare and rehabilitation.
