The Police in Niger State have arrested 16-year-old Lawal Abubakar of Kasuwan-Gwari for allegedly attempting to exhume a body.
The State Police Spokesperson, DSP Wasiu Abiodun, who made this known, said the suspect was arrested on Saturday at Chanchaga cemetery when he attempted to exhume a body from a grave.
He added that during interrogation, the suspect confessed to conspiring with one Hamisu, currently at large, to get body parts and clothes from a body in the cemetery.
An investigation is ongoing.
