Following the incessant clashes, fracas, and malicious damage of property mostly linked to issues surrounding the management of motor parks within Lagos State, the State Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has warned that anyone person found fomenting trouble anywhere within the State would be promptly apprehended and made to face the law.
According to the State Police Spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the CP met with Musiliu Akinsanya aka MC Oluomo, and Azeez Abiola aka Istijaba, in his office, where he admonished them to prevail on their teeming followers to act within the confines of the law.
Therefore, all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), and Tactical Commanders have been directed to deal decisively with anyone found instigating or causing a breach of peace within their respective Areas of Responsibility (AoR).
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of Police calls on residents to go about their lawful duties without fear of harassment or intimidation, as all human, material, and operational resources have been optimally deployed to ensure their safety and security.
