A mortuary attendant working with MABOD at Oke-Yidi, Abule Oloni in Abeokuta, Ogun State, is currently in Police Custody after the head of a little child was found in his possession.

The suspect, identified as Lukman Kushimo a.k.a Werepe, was arrested on Tuesday by the men of the So-safe Corps who saw him coming out from Oke-Yidi Cemetery with a sack in his hand. When the operatives searched him, they found a boy’s head inside the sack.

The boy’s parents had sought the suspect’s assistance to get their son buried. After the burial, he came back to severe the deceased head. He told the Operatives that the head was requested by one Chief Ifalonishe (AKA Lanroye) at the rate of N50,000.

Similarly, the Operatives of Ogun State Police Command have also arrested a fraudster, Abdul Salami Yakub, who pretended to be a spiritualist and defrauded a woman of Four Million, Seven Hundred and Seventy-Five thousand naira N4,775,000.

The State Commissioner of Police had received a petition from the victim, Rukayat Ibrahim, who reported that she was defrauded by the suspect, who pretended to have a spiritual solution to her daughter’s problem.

During the investigation, another victim, Oluwaseun Ibrahim, reported the suspect had also duped her of seven hundred thousand naira (N700,000).

The Police recovered an artificial snake, four native eggs in a calabash, a masquerade head, Tiger’s tail covered with white cloth, two pots, and one bell from the suspect.
