The IGP has directed that the logistics and assets be made available for Police operatives at the forefront of crisis areas.

Also, the Police Airwing would step up its platforms and logistics to provide air support for the ground troops whenever they are on operation in the six geo-political zones in Nigeria.

Meanwhile, the IGP has appealed to Nigerians to not be frightened by the presence of the heavily armed Police Tactical Squads as they have been warned to be professional, civil, and operate within the ambit of the law.

He also sought maximum cooperation with Police operatives in many areas, especially information sharing, to make the operations successful.
